She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gouthreau and Rita Gouthreau. She is survived by: her spouse Kelly Gabruck; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Gabruck (Trich) and Colleen Kwiatkowski. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Donations in memory of Leone can be made to the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) in loving support of animals and their care.

“I first met Leone in 1994, 40 years after my Grandad was part of a Halifax Bomber aircrew, his Pilot Officer was Leone’s Father Leo Gouthreau. Over the decades and many correspondence later from my Grandad and my Mum (Carolyn), I finally got to meet Leone. She (and Kelly) welcomed me as Family, and for the next 11 years many a memorable time spend in her wonderful company of cats, music (Bruce Guthro) and just great company. On behalf of all who knew Leone our sincere condolences to Kelly.”
