He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Swain and Isadore Quintal; his siblings, Clara, Henri (Crow), Art, Frank, Margo, Annie, Mike (Muggler), Lawrence, Pete, Elia, Sara, Eugene, Sybil, Archie, Walter (JoeCan), Jimmy and Clifford; and his significant other Madeline Cardinal.

He is survived by: his children, Robert, Isadore and Jordan; and his siblings, Don, Bertha, Lena, Sheila and Pat.
