He was predeceased by: his siblings, Germaine, Yvonne, Maryann, Charlie, Willie and Don.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his daughters, Michelle (Dale) and Monique (Stefan); his grandchildren, Katie, Alex (Melissa), Zachary (Kyana) and Jacob (Madeleine); his great grandchildren, Cooper and Brooks; and his nephew Rick (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Leonard's name may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
