She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Pilger and Kaethe Pilger; and her siblings, Hans, Dick, Kurt, Doris, Betty and Rita.

She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Doug (Jayne), Randy (Maew), Geoff (Valerie) and Sandra (Simon); her daughter-in-law Jackie; her grandchildren, Brendan (Karla), Angela, Tim (Lucy), Liana (Jeff) and Nicki (Daniele); and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Maya, Claire, Harrison and Leon.
