She was predeceased by: her son Ken. She is survived by: her children, Jim and Roberta (Glenn); her grandchildren, Matthew and Allison (Kirby); her great grandchildren, Avery, Hudson and Harper; and her sister Frances. She is also survived by her cats and visits from friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's name may be made to the Alberta SPCA.
