With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Goertzen (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Tofield, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband Jake. She is survived by: her children, Dina, Don (Tricia) and Eugene (Donna); her grandchildren, Christopher and Dani; her great grandchild Giada; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Niko, Irene, Matthias, Veronika and Daniel; and also, Olga (Alexander) and Alexander (Olga). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
