He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Bertha; his siblings, Erwin and Elfriede; his wife Irma; and his son Harold.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry (Bonney) and James (Susan); his grandsons, Zach, Josh, Riley and Nicholas; and his sister Gerda (Hermann). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association and/or Trinity Lutheran Church.
