She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Wilson (Skip); her brother Orest Frunchak; and her parents, George Frunchak and Pearl Frunchak. She is survived by: her children, Al Wilson (Theresa), Lori (Allan) and Tyler (Edmonton); her sister Gloria (Ignazio Marino); her niece Tina Wenckowski; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Troy and Kyle; her nephew Jason Marino (Tracy); her great-nephews, Ethan and Jonah; and her close friend Richard Paetzel (Dick). She is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends.

The period of isolation brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic was hard on Jo, but through that time she continued to reach out and phone friends and family to encourage them and stay connected.
