He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan and Thelma; and his siblings, Ken, Larry, Gladys and Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Wayne (Rosetta), Carl (Cindy) and Grant (Karusha); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Angelina, Andrew, Anindin, John, Matthew, Cassandra, Julianna and Kaylee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
