He was predeceased by: his wife Nettie; and his parents, Metro and Jean. He is survived by: his children, Trevor and Shauna MacNeil (Ron); his grandchildren, Madeline and William; his siblings, Ken (Mavis) and Pauline Kozak; and his nieces and nephews, Tami Yanish (Steve), Kim Radomsky (Andrew), Kevin and Kyle (Laura). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
