John Jack Meier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Jack Meier (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helene (Scheffler); his parents, Wilhelm and Elisabeth (Maier); his siblings, Wilhelm (Agnes), Theresia (Lorenz), Peter (Katherine), Joseph, Paul (Gertrude) and Nicholas; his granddaughter Caroline Caddel; his son-in-law Rod MacDonald; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Vrana, Heinz Cern and Herbert Scheffler (Gudrun).
He is survived by: his children, Martina (Ted), Bertram, Monica, Mary, Rio (Guy) and John (Rebecca); his sister Maria Vrana; his sisters-in-law, Margarete Cern and Janet Rollins; and his grandchildren, Matthew (Christina), Philip (Amanda), Jennifer and Kathryn. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
