It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gamble of Edmonton, Alberta, born in Peace River, Alberta, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caridwen Eilien Roberts (Carrie) and John Gamble; and his siblings, Luke, Dot and Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Glen (Diane), Gail (Rod), Blair (Shelley) and Brent (Tanis); his wife Mavis Burchett; his grandchildren, Kelsey (Dexter), Denika, Braden (Lisa), Taylor, Steven (Samantha), Olivia, Amanda and Cohen; and his great grandchildren, Phoenix and Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peace River & District Health Foundation would be appreciated, or to any of John's favourite charities including the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute or the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
