He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanko and Slavka; and his sister Anica. He is survived by: his children, Jon, Jax, Jade and Joss; his siblings, Alice (Edward) and Mato; his nephew Lance (Claudia); his niece Rowan; and his great-nephews, Cristiano and Nico. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Colak to a charity of one's choice.

“So sad to hear about John's passing. We have been friends and neighbors for over 38 years. Condolences are extended to the family. Unfortunately we cannot attend the funeral Mass as we are out of town however we will be thinking of you and offering our thoughts and prayers.
