He was predeceased by: his sons, Clinton, Lance and Bruce; his granddaughter Samantha; his parents, Jenny and Andrew; and his siblings, William, Michael, George, Ann and Katherine.

He is survived by: his wife Elora of Edmonton; his children, Carmen (Ken) and Todd (Dina) of Australia; his grandchildren, Linnea, Lindsey, Isabella and Christian; his sister Mary of Medicine Hat; and his sister-in-law Diana of Edmonton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
