It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Agrios (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on September 12, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth; his children, Elaine (Brian Monaghan) and Andrew Agrios (Jenafor); his grandchildren, Aidan, Lily, Connor and Owen Monaghan; his brother Jack Agrios; his sister-in-law Jeannie; his nieces, Janice Agrios and Susan Agrios; his great-nieces, Caitlin and Lauren Smith; his siblings-in-law, Jack Brown (Joyce) and Elaine Walker (Lionel); his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Bob, Kathy, Aron, Brad and Allison; and his parents, Andrew Agrios and Krinio Agrios.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the "Honourable Justice John Agrios Distinguished Student Achievement Fund" for law students at the University of Alberta.
