She was predeceased by: her husband Dirk; her sister Helene Bakker; and her parents, Hendrik Herstel and Johanna Herstel. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Zeldenrust (Clarence), Winnie, Len (Joanne), Henry and Brian (Torrie); and her sisters, Bep Arnold-Herstel and Ali Nelemans-Herstel (Arie).
