He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedito and Belmina; and his siblings, Maria Jose Galvao (Costa) and Alcidia Pereira. He is survived by: his wife Maria Ligia; his children, Peter (Pauline) and Sandy Giasson (Richard); his grandchildren, Richanda (Aidan), Brayden, Lydia and Sydney (Nathan); and his sister Urania (Costa). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
