She was predeceased by: her husband Doug; and her parents, John Basarab and Mary Basarab. She is survived by: her daughter Judy; her son-in-law Geoff; her sister Lillian Synryk; her brother-in-law Don Syrnyk; and her nieces, Cristina Swinnerton (Gareth) and Leslie Sanchez.
