She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Newborn and Eleanor Thomas; her grandparents, Jean Baptiste Newborn, Philomene Courteoreille, Mary Bruneau and Sam Baptiste Thomas; her siblings, Pauline, Caroline, Angus, Rose, Mary, Baptiste, Joe and Moise; and her aunt Jean Potskin.
She is survived by: her children, Courtney, Ben, Jenna and Lorne (Alyssia); her grandchildren, Alicia, Phoenix, Baby Alexia and Soul; her siblings, David, Jean, Sharon, Lydia, Helen, Jack, Eugene, John (Delores), Shirley, Terry (Kim) and Brenda (Ronnie); her extended family, Thomas, Potskin, Stevenson and Courtereille; her aunt Dora Courtereille; and her goddaughter Veronica. She is also survived by her adopted children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and family.
