He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Stolee and Ragna Stolee (Lefsrud); and his siblings, Elinor Emlet, Erling and Leif.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Liz Stolee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
