“Bruce was a good friend that we had coffee every Tuesday for many years. Originally, he drove and met me and when he gave up his driver's license, I picked him up. We also met for lunch usually on Friday about every three or 4 weeks. I first met Bruce in 1965 when he worked in the shoe department at the back of Stewart and Pateman and then followed him on his career. We became good friends when he was at Val Bergs and continued till the end. I also continued visiting him at the hospital.”
