James Brendan Franklin Obituary

With great sadness, the family of James Brendan Franklin, formerly of Prescott, Ontario, announces his passing in Edmonton, Alberta on August 22nd, 2023, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Marlise, his sons, Christiaan, Jordan (Bryce) and Noah and will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Maddison, Brynlee, Addila and Raiden, all of Edmonton, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Jamie was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Janet Franklin, and he is mourned by his sisters, Catherine Kerr, Peggy Brand and Mary MacDermott (Scott), also his brothers, Ron, Mark (Muriel) and John. Fondly remembered by friends and colleagues at CNR. Memorial donations to Parkinson Canada (PO Box 6800 STN Main, Markham, Ontario L3P 9Z9) would be greatly appreciated.
