He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gang Fong and Lillian; his brother Wayne; his nephew Dennis; and his son-in-law Ed Loo.

He is survived by: his wife Kimlaine; his children, Janis (Nick Pryce), Robert (Suzanne Cross-Fong), Caroline Look (Bennie) and Richard (Kate Lazier); and his grandchildren, Jorja, Lauryn, Jason, Matthew, Samantha, Beth and James. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces; cousins and many close friends.

The family gratefully declines floral tributes and requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
