He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Spencer Sumner (Patricia); his parents, Hugh Dempsey and Pauline Dempsey; his siblings, Louise Dempsey (Joe), Leah Koski (Shane) and John Dempsey (Ronna); his aunt Doreen Garvey (John); his cousins, Paul and Aaron; his son James; and his sister Lois Dempsey.
