With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack George Bernard of Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on December 9, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Moses Bernard and Isabella Bernard; his mother Virginia Isabella Bernard; his uncle Richard "Dicky" Bernard; his aunt Nora Bernard; his siblings, Ralph Bernard, Rosemarie Bernard, Linda Koester and Patsy Chalifoux; his stepson Michael Couterielle; and his niece Chrissy Bernard.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Shawn Bernard, Ashley Couterielle, Jack Jr. Bernard-Laderoute, Brendon Bernard (Katrena Bonnar), Trent Laderoute (Leslie) and Melissa Johnson; his grandchildren, Jamie Couterielle, Tristen Couterielle, Ariana Cardinal-Laderoute, Kiara Whitehorse-Laderoute, Pheonix Whitehorse-Laderoute, Shawn Jr. Redcrow-Bernard, Blaze Redcrow-Bernard, Sage Sharphead-Bernard, Kendra Moosewa-Bernard, Talon Moosewa-Bernard, Kayden Bernard, Zayd Bernard, Isabella Bonnar-Goguen and Aaliyah Bernard; and his sisters, Mary Arts, Marlene Laguneese and Theresa Koester. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
