He was predeceased by: his parents, Soad and Yakoub. He is survived by: his wife Loies; his sons, Abraam (Lindsay) and André (Daniela); his grandchildren, Ella and Luca; his siblings, Amany and Akmal (Mervat); and his nieces, Anne and Angela. He is also survived by friends and was the best husband, father and grandfather.
