We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024, Inga Schuurman (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Inga Schuurman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband John; her son Ron; and her siblings, John Ruim, Alice Delwel, Rennie Vandenbos and Jack Ruim.

She is survived by: her children, Tina Yakimishyn (Larry), Tim (Mary) and Cindy Hamilton (Glenn); her daughter-in-law Sandy; her grandchildren, Christine LaRose (Mark), Matthew (Megan Dart), Steven (Angie), Jaime Yakimishyn, Siobhan Ouvarov (Vitali), Stephanie Olson (Erik), Scott (Katie), Anna Michele, Kim Yakimishyn (Cory), Katy Funtasz (Mitch) and Jennifer Hamilton; and her sister Jennie Ruim. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Community Church (6505 140 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5A1H2).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Hope Program, 11402 University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T6G2J3 (https://givetouhf.ca).
