She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Louis F. Schoepp; her children, Louise and Wayne; and her siblings, Bill Lede (Florence), Ernest Lede and Elsie Stebner (Ralph).

She is survived by: her sons, Ted (Dixie) and Tim (Marilyn); her foster daughter Holly (Tony); her siblings, Hedwig Erikson and Herb Lede (Irmgard); and her grandchildren, Maris, Jed, Nathan, Kevin, Jody and Christie. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made in honor of Hilda to the Good Samaritan Society or to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
