He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, Heinrich and Hulda; his siblings, Edward, Gustav, Adele and Ingeborg; and his daughters, Rhonda and Brenda.

He is survived by: his son Randy; and his siblings, Jacob, Walter and Emma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
