He was predeceased by: his parent Scotland. He is survived by: his wife Jolanda; his children, Richard (Teresa) and Karen (Peter); his grandchildren, Laura (Jason), Janet (Daniel), Robert (Kayla) and Kelly (Mike); his great grandchildren, Lillian and Lola; his niece Astrid (John); and his nephews, Karl (Freda) and Felix (Emilie).
