She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Powelson (Robert S.); and her parents, Jean Hoover and George Edward Hoover. She is survived by: her daughter Susan; her grandsons, Nathan and Graeme (Sgrazzutti); her daughter Barbara Willows (Doug); her grandchildren, Ian and Erin; her great grandchild Allan Powelson (Tracy Gillespie); her brother Edward George Hoover (Kerry); her niece Mandy Roane (Chad); her nephew Christian Hoover (Alysia); and also, Brynn and Ava.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Capital Care Dickensfield.
