With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen (Riches) Lohse (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen (Riches) Lohse to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her brother Bert; her sister-in-law Jeannette; and her parents, Alice Riches and Jack Riches. She is survived by: her husband Rick; her children, Wes (Amy) and Wanda (Jaime); her stepchildren, Tom, Jenny and Greg; her grandchildren, Brittani, Jayden, Tansey, Taylor, Sienna, Oakland and Aspen; and her siblings, Theresa, Pat (Glen) and Bill. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and countless cousins who were among her treasured friends.
A celebration of life will be planned out at the lake, when COVID-19 measures permit.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to ElderDog Edmonton Pawd (http: //http://www.elderdog.ca), the charity that has helped care for Helen and Rick's dog Willow any time needed this past year.
