He was predeceased by: his brothers, Nguyen Ngoc Vien, Nguyen Ngoc Dam and Nguyen Ngoc Khanh; and his parents, Nguyen Bach and Bui Thi Vinh.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bach Ngoc Quang, Nguyen Ngoc Luu, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Hong Yen, Nguyen Hong Cuc and Nguyen Hong Hanh; and his sister-in-law Nguyen Thi Cuc. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
