He was predeceased by: his wife Vicky; his parents, Germaine Ernest and Paul Ernest; and his brother Michel. He is survived by: his children, Guillaine (Guy), Paul and Jeannette (Kevin); his siblings, Lise (Serge), Maurice (Yvonnette) and Andre; and his sister-in-law Claudette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Kingsway Legion Branch #175 (14339 50 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5A5J4).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the "Kipnes Centre for Veterans" - 4470 McCrae Ave NW Edmonton, AB T5E 6M8.
