We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 80, Grant Crichton (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan and Laura; and his siblings, Dave, Art (Lynn), Jim and Kathy (Paul).

He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Darren (Darcy) and Laurie (Rainer); his son-in-law Dale; his grandchildren, Candice (Barry), Thomas and Madeline; his great grandchildren, Michael, Lyla and Kali; and his sisters-in-law, Rita and Loretta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, STARS Air Ambulance, or a charity of one's choice.

“We live just across the alley behind the house where Grant & his wife used to live. Our memories of him are of a cheerful, warm-hearted man with a nimble wit & a resounding laughter. This sense of humour stayed with him, even after he was confined to a wheelchair. On warm, sunny summer days we would often hear his laughter as he rolled up the alley in his wheelchair to visit his son Darren & his family. Henry & Patricia Smigielski”
