With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerry Collett (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Gerry may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Molly and Charlie; and his sister Donna. He is survived by: his brothers, Ken (Michelle) and Randy (Anne); his nieces, Lisa, Cindy and Janelle (Nick); and his nephew Nathan. He is also survived by many extended family members and good friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2). A reception will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Canadian Hemophilia Society, or a charity of your choice.
