He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Ford and William Ford; his former wife Patsy Ford (Louie); his sons, Dana King, George Ford, John King and Robin King; and his grandsons, David Lennie and Roger Maxwell.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Cameron King-Ford; his sister Florence (Calgary); his children, Wendy King, Lorna Ford (Frank Lane), Alexis Ford-Ellis, Kevin King (Cindy), Mitchell Ford, Patrick Ford and Yvonne Louie; and his great grandchildren, Terrance, Morgan, Tyler, Ember, Collin, Meika, Caelum, Autum, Shantelle, Brandon, Melissa, Kevin, Alison, Tannika, Angie, Pamela and Danielle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

George wishes are that people donate their time and money to such places as Robertson-Wesley United Church, Edmonton Boyle Street, The Bissell Center, Edmonton Food Bank or any community you wish to support in lieu of flowers.
