He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kluthe and Clara Kluthe; his son Darrell; his siblings, Joe (Dorothy), Ben (Bilda), Johnny and Eileen (John Kaup); and his brother-in-law John McDonnell.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Irwin (Marian), Rebecca (Mark), Cathy (Mark) and Karen; his daughter-in-law Roberta (Wayne Straub); and his siblings, Bernice McDonnell and Rodney (Marlene). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
