He was predeceased by: his aunts, Mary Metchewais (Gord) and Lillian Youngchief; his father Fernand; his sisters, Sheryl Maglione and Jackie Cardinal; his niece Jessica; his brother-in-law Russel Bruvold; his uncles, Gordon Youngchief and Carmine Maglione Sr.; and his close friend Bernie Lavoie.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheyenne Longjohn (Dakota); his grandchildren, Ty, Dawson and Sydney; the mother of his child Doris; his mother Sophie Maglione; his siblings, Darlene Couillard-Heiniger (Hans), Joanne, Charles Robertson (Jana), Carmine "Sonny" Maglione Jr. (Sandy), Wanda Cardinal and Cathy Cardinal (Chip); and his nieces and nephews, Shane Pomerleau (Veronica), Nicole Crier (Scott), Shantelle Pomerleau (Shane) and Travis Couillard.
