He is survived by: his children, Katia Starchuk (Ken), Nick Horobec (Michelle Richard) and Olya Fowler (Roy); his grandchildren, Olena Russell (Mike), Timothy Starchuk (Megan), Pauline Milanovic (Sasha), Natalie Horobec, Orysia Mayes (Obadiah) and Michael Fowler; and his great grandchildren, Kasian, Kaia, Kalyna, Kazka, Hana, Aleksandra, Nathan, Aydin, Mila and Mya. He is also survived by his wife, Vera. and sister.

In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 – 107 Street, Edmonton, AB T5H 2Z5.
