It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Dorothy Matishak (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Valley River, Manitoba, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Prestayko and Mary Prestayko; her husband Zan Roman Matishak of Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church Choir; and her siblings, Victoria, Claudia and Ed.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Beverly), Michael (TJ), Maria (Terry), Patrick, Liz, Andrea (David) and Nadine (Andrew); and also, Angels, Riza, Jemma, Narisa, Amie and Veronica.
