He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kline and Annette Kline; his siblings, Harvey Tigar, Al Kline, Yvette Mulderig, Flo Markstrom and Theresa Lockhart; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Kline.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Dean of Swan Hills, Michelle English (Steve) of Trail, BC and Richard Vansen of Spruce Grove; his grandchildren, Lee Proctor of Red Deer, Selina McMillan of Grand Forks, Zackery, Brooke-Lynn Vansen of Edmonton and Tyson Vansen of Spruce Grove; his sister Bertha Warner; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Tigar, Lynne Kline and Blaine Striethorst (Barb).
