She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Lau and Adine Lau; and her sisters, Hildegard Judas and Gisela Wasyk. She is survived by: her husband Ernst; her children, Nicole Ross (Derek) and Colin Winklmeier (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Lauren, Cassie Ross, Zachary, Rachel, Eli and Jonas Winklmeier; and her brother Siegfried Lau. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta or the Canadian Cancer Society in Erika's name.
