She was predeceased by: her husband Ron Payment; her grandson Martin Shalka; her parents, Joseph Deeg and Eva Deeg; her siblings, Joe, Ernie, Martin, Thena Deeg and Marjorie Darrach (Bud); and her son-in-law Lennard Shalka.
She is survived by: her children, Janine Shalka of Edmonton, AB and Arnold Payment (Elizabeth Cowley) of Sydney, Australia; her grandchildren, Tricia (Steve Artim), Matthew (Anna Lindtjorn), Jason (Shaleen Kim) and Drew Shalka (Andrea Chalut); and her great grandchildren, Harper and Ella.
As an expression of sympathy, if desired, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
