Elizabeth Kapteyn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Kapteyn (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her daughter Shellee; her grandson Josh; and her parents, Mabel and Olav.

She is survived by: her sons, Brad, Jeff and Grant; her grandchildren, Jessie, Jeannine, Cynthia, Candace, Mary-Jane and Zach; her brothers, Brian and Bob; her sisters-in-law, Agnes and Josie; and her daughters-in-law, Donna and Melissa. She is also survived by other close friends and relatives.

Due to Covid 19 concerns, a celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held later, when it's safe for everyone to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elizabeth's name to the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
