She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her brothers, Allen and Alvin; her parents, Reinhold Koch and Ruth Koch; and her grandson Jason Lorentz.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Lorentz (Dina Fox), Linda Bancarz (Wayne) and Murray Lorentz (Shelley). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
