He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nathaniel and Agnus Sargeant; his sisters, Ina and Jean; his father-in-law Werner Kraus; and his stepfather-in-law Sydney Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Crystal Alice Sargeant; his sisters, Sybil Simmons (Tony) and Shirley; his mother-in-law Alice Blair; his siblings-in-law, David Kraus, Brian Kraus, Deanne Kraus and Gracie Jane Kraus; his grandchildren, Aliyah, Damien Sargeant and Sterling; his niece Biregette; and his nephew Ian. He is also survived by numerous other friends and family members.
