He is survived by: his sons, Stephen (Tiffany) and Matthew (Demi); his siblings, Gordon (Kathy), Debby (Rob), Andrea (Ken), Karen (Barth) and JoAnn; and his grandchildren, Aiden, Avery and Mason. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's name may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.

“I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ted. Ted, Neil and I spent many hours collaborating on obtaining a pool for the Castle Downs Area. His commitment to the children and the community and their wellbeing was second to non. He was always supportive to all the fundraising events including building the water park. Ted was a good friend to many and had a heart of gold. I can’t believe he has passed too soon. My condolences to all his family and to those who called him friend. Rest in peace Ted.”
