Edna (Patterson) Abele Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna (Patterson) Abele (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on December 27, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Abele; her siblings, Emma, Nancy, Tizzie, Jim and Tom; and her parents, Edward Patterson and Alice Patterson.

She is survived by: her children, Louise McBain (Bob McBain), Terri Stauffer (Warren Stauffer) and Jim Abele (Mary Nierva); her grandchildren, Amy McBain (Jarrett Campbell), Faye McBain (Brett Tracy-Gould), Scott Stauffer (Nicole Stauffer), Taryn Stauffer and Claire Abele; her great grandchildren, Grayson Stauffer, Emmett Stauffer, Miller Tracy-Gould, Perrie Tracy-Gould and Francis Campbell; and her brothers, Bert Patterson of Mississauga and Ted Patterson of Winnipeg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Edmonton Food Bank.
