As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edmund may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his family, Mary (Clyde), Doug (Pam), Dianne (Rick), Kathy (Darren), Christy (Jason) and Melanie (Brian); and his brothers, Randy (Helen) and David. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the University of Alberta Neurosciences ICU in his memory, where he received exceptional care in his final days.
